I recently found some LR Magnum primers (cci 250) in store locally. $116. I no longer have principles.....

I bought two bricks of CCI200 from Brownells recently. It was $210ish shipped, and I was happy (kinda but not really ).

Yep. 15-30. I'm still sitting on some stock from back then. Haven't had to buy primers for years. Unfortunately I didn't stock up on LRMs.

I recently grabbed a brick of those for $90. I was shocked to see them, and shocked at the price, considering they’re getting 100 for cci400s.

Running out of a component.

Got caught in a ice storm years ago, I had intended to pick up the 10K primers, an emergency came up and I was unable to do so, the next day the ice storm hit. I was down to 500 primers. Used all them up....put these with the 30 K rds already loaded up and ...had to actually do something else to occupy my time.

Ordered a brass prep station this am. Not sure how much it'll speed things up, but I was bored. Next thing will probably be a better priming solution over a hand primer.

I would have voted brass prep trimming, hated that part until I got a Henderson. Now it's easy and I don't mind it.

Me too. Trimming followed by a healing.

Pricey but saves time.

Those Sac dies have my attention. I started looking into them a few months ago. I've never had an issue with redding bushing dies. How are the Sac dies so much better?

There’s a poor man’s version of the Primal Rights CPS that threads into most presses. Bought mine from Ugly Reloading, a Veteran Owned business.

Those Sac dies have my attention. I started looking into them a few months ago. I've never had an issue with redding bushing dies. How are the Sac dies so much better?

Depends what you do now and if your happy with it.

I used to mandrel and decap in separate steps. They also size the entire neck. My brass only goes in the press one time in my process. If your using Redding dies in a similar fashion and your happy with them your not gaining much.

Are the Henderson, Giraud or new hornady powered trimmers the only way or is there a more budget friendly trimmer that cuts time over the super manual ones? I only really shoot .223 and 6.5cm in high volume.

The Frankford arsenal and rcbs power units are very slow, maybe slower than by hand. The Wilson power adapter i had wobbled terribly.

I'm surprised trimming isn't at the top of the list or part of a list. That flat sucks.
