Worst part of reloading?

Worst or most tedious part of reloading

  • Brass prep ( sizing, chamfer, primer pockets)

  • Priming

  • Powder measuring

  • Seating bullets to desired depth

  • Annealing

The hardest part is the higher cost of components these days. Good thing I stocked up years ago before retirement. I don’t shoot all that much though.
 
Achieving consistent loads requires a lot of attention to detail. It can be frustrating to spend time loading rounds, only to find a small variation in powder charge or bullet seating depth that could affect performance.

Lol. If a small variation in charge or seating depth affects performance, I’m not wasting time or components on that load. I’ll find something better/stable.
 
Reloading can sometimes lead to mistakes, like overfilling powder, improperly seating bullets, or a misfired primer. Correcting those errors can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially if you don’t catch them early.
