Workout Idea that was brutal

Sometimes doing a workout that sucks, just because it sucks is good for you. Mental capacity is just as or more important than physical.

Burpees in general just about kill me. Try the 22's from Mtn Tough.. with burpees and lunges.

20 burpees.. 2 lunges
18 burpees... 4 lunges
16 burpees.. 6 lunges

and on until your at 2 burpees and 20 lunges.
oh man that would be a killer one Ive done the 22s with lunges and the rows etc.

^^^^what he said.....I am 61 and still getting after the critters but adopted moderation and cycling years ago. All my powerlifting friends are hurting cowboys now. Most all are having shoulder surgeries, hip and knee replacement, etc. The "ultra" sports build free radicals and break down your system. There is fitness and there is macho stupid.
Im 31 and thankfully i have already figured this out. theres intense, and then theres stupid.

Yeah this one felt stupid...but tried it again Saturday morning and made it. wasn't pretty but got it done in 59:25 barely. Now wed these guys have lost their minds and I may bow out of this one..

for time

50 Burpees
400 M
100 Pushups
400m
150 walking lunges
400 M
200 air squats
400 M
150 Walking lunges
400 m
100 pushups
400 M
50 Burpess

These guys have lost their minds!!!
