Like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive, that's the squirrel opener for me. I went out early around the house but I guess the squirrels were still sleeping because I didn't see or hear anything. So I went back home, drank some coffee, and wallered my 2 new bloodhound pups around. While that was taking place, I started hearing squirrel noises in the woods. So I put my play clothes back on and took another circle. I saw several and came home with two. Ole Betsy sure was glad to be pressed back into service!
And speaking of my pups...here are some photos of the beautiful angels.
The one on the right is Hazel Lynn and the left pup is Harper Lee. They are 15 weeks old.
Look at those beautiful green eyes!
It's always better to nap on Dad.
