Womans Osprey Ariel 55

Although I could likely to smaller, I run 26" stays in all my Kifaru packs simply because the extra height isn't noticeable to me but it's nice if anyone taller than me wants to use my pack. Luke and I routinely swap packs back and forth (sometimes on the same trip), and I have been known to loan packs out to friends as well. 26" is likely overkill for me, but for taller users with heavy loads the additional lift is critical.

we took our packs for a walk yesterday, about 6 miles covered, i had 50lbs in my duplex, my wife wore my spike camp with about 27 lbs in it, it has the small belt.

she loved it thought it was super comfortable.
looks like she will be in a kifaru pack soon...

Cool thread and in due respect ms becca id just like to say "your a boss". Lots of admiration in seeing the pics you've posted above. Awesome seeing women like yourself out packin hikin Huntin carryin a gun even animals that's been harvested. Best of luck to yourself and your husband in the upcoming season.

i agree bling
another update, we just went on a overnighter and put about 5-6 miles on, she used my spike camp with 2 medium side pockets and had about 25lbs, she takes way to much clothing,,
spike camp has the small belt, she loves the pack....
she is sold on the kifaru comfort
now to get her a duplex or the wrap tech , waiting to hear back on a dt2 with the wrap tech suspension.

any one have any thoughts on the two? comparisons? between the two suspensions?

My advice is go with the duplex. Much easier and less expensive if you want to change to other bags to try out or own. Also much easier to sell.
