Witt Machine clamp on breaks, anyone used one?

Thinking about getting one for my Tikka I picked up in 300 win mag. Was wondering if anyone has used one and if they had any issues. Thanks for any feedback.

I have one on a Remington 300 win mag, never had any issues, easy to install never had it come loose. The one I have has side and top ports. It's very effective for felt recoil and helps keep the muzzle down for round tracking and follow up sots. My buddy bought one for his kids .308 with the same positive results. I wouldn't hesitate to put one another rifle.

I have one and love it. Easy to take on and off. I don't hunt with it, just for range time. POI shifts a little, but the reduced recoil is significant and nearly eliminates muzzle flip.

Have you noticed that it marked up the barrel at all after you have removed it?

The rifle I have it on, has a Nitride finish. I did not see any marks after I shot with it. I haven't taken it off for a while, I took it off after 50 rounds just to see. No marks on my rifle.

It does not mark my blued Tikka barrel. I put blue loctite on the barrel that creates a film between the metal surfaces. This dries thoroughly and takes a little work to remove if you care.

I have one for my .06

Very effective but bulky. I ended up taking it off because it made the rifle feel super front-heavy

I wanted to bring this back from the dead to see if anyone else has any feed back on these brakes.

I'm toying with the idea of a Stainless Tikka and wouldn't want to deal with the known issues with threading those barrels.
