Wiser Third leg

Any one have any experience using this? I went scouting last night and somehow lost the tension knob for locking my arca on my pan head. Ended up using my trekking poles for the spotter. Got me thinking how well a third leg could work. Also would be lighter. Could also take a third leg and one of my smaller 2 Vets shooting tripods on some trips.
But I did find a nice bull! Not bad for wobbling all over.
