Question for ya’ll
Does anyone know if you can mount a Wiser Ridge Warden to a Leofoto SA 324CL?
I purchased this tripod with the intention of mounting the ridge warden to it for hunts but also using the Ma-30L ball head for range shooting and coyotes. With this in mind, I purchased the tripod/ball head combo from Leofoto (yes I’m a bad person for buying Chinese, I can’t stomach $1,500+ for a RRS tripod plus Anvil when I don’t even know if I enjoy tripod shooting yet) and it seems like the mount was designed specifically for the Ma-30L ball head. There is no 3/8” post, nor is there a place to mount one. It has 4 Allen screws that hold the head on the tripod and seems to be specifically manufactured for combo.
Is there an adapter that goes from those 4 screws to a 3/8” post? I’ve searched and searched but found nothing.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Am i missing something very obvious? It seems like the whole mounting unit is integrated into the base on this tripod. Short of pulling the legs off and finding a different base I'm at a bit of a loss.
Edit: I found a 75mm apex on their site, I’ll order and see how that goes. I’ll leave the thread up in case someone out there is as unintelligent as me.
