I’ve had mine on my Leica Geovid R 10x42s for 2.5 years now. No problems with it coming loose or needing to be readjusted. No problem coming in or out of the bino case. Personally, I would not carry a 15 or 18x and expect to glass off a trekking pole, you’re just not going to get the stability for anything other than a quick peek.
Overall a great product and I’d definitely recommend.

If you have 15x56 with outdoorsman stud and adaptor would you run a outdoorsman stud on some 8x32el to keep everything the same or would sparrow be a better option.

I don't know why I wouldn't do the Sparrow on both.

I have an old heavy set of 16s I keep on a tripod by my back door. It is kind of slick and would slowly sag so I had to tighten the strap every couple weeks. Finally I wrapped underneath the sparrow mounting strap with a ciuple layers of cloth friction tape. Never happened again.
