I am more so wanting a shooting head, then glassing head. This is a great glassing head and decent shooting head if you have the right rail set up on your rifle.

I am planning on purchasing a shooting head such rrs anvil then the tricer lp for glassing and just slide it on top the anvil.

it worked great for prone, but in wind on a lighter tripod for kneeling and standing shooting positions it wasn’t as solid as I would have liked. Could be my rifle weight / rail position as well so take my experience with a grain of salt.

Gotcha! Makes total sense. Im already halfway committed to the rest of the wiser setup. Your experience ie helfpul because I havent seen a that many reviews of the head yet. I'd likely use it for glassing, but like the option of shooting off it.
