I guess it comes from hearing concerns as this every year. It's too hot it's too cold, too much rain, too much snow, too many hunters, etc. Being in the elkwoods over 40 years now I haven't seen any drastic results where in most areas elk are just fine. I'm not the 'Sky Is Falling Guy' I take each year as they come & deal with it. If there's more elk great & if there's less elk great, I'll be out there as long as I can put one foot in front of the other. Elk hunting is a challenge, it's supposed to be that way, I depend on that every year it's what keeps me coming back! I don't worry about the weather, it'll sort itself out. Good luck!
