Same with most tikkas, and it seems like some other rifles in general
The Linda throats don’t help either, they generally can handle higher loads before showing pressure

Have you shot a 24" Tikka 65cm? They're slow as F even with handloads. Max charges are 2750fps. What you're seeing doesn't surprise me one bit, Tikka barrels are notoriously slow, but they do seem to hold accuracy for a longer life, belive it's due to European metallurgy and the hammer forging hardening things. N565 will do maybe 25-40fps fast than H1000 at similar pressures. Rl23 will work, but I'd drop to a 130-140gr bullet with it. Start around 53gr. Max will likely be 56ish.
I have and have had multiple Tikkas, but have never found this to be true. Obviously your experience is different. I've had 2 270s, 223, 22-250, 300 WSM, 308, 6.5CM. This is the first Tikka I've had that was "slow".

Buy a 6.5 CM and rechamber to 260 AI, no setback required, just run the reamer
Just make sure it is throated long (I made the mistake of a shorter throat which needs correcting) and run 06 length magazines
What bullets are you using and at what velocity?
I had a couple of 260s before I bought my CM.

This is something I have been looking at, 260 has been on my radar as of late. I have zero NEED for one, But will definitely pick one up sooner or later and the AI version would be fun to play around with.
