Up for sale or trade.. A very nice Featherweight chambered in a 280 Remington. In awesome condition.. Timney trigger and Talley lightweight mounts included. Shoots 150gr. BT under an inch. It’s a newer made Winchester, Portugal made. $735 shipped to your FFL. If interested I have near new RCBS dies, brass and a full box of 162 SST’s.
Consider trades on a more weather resistant 280 rem, a tighter twist in the barrel or would love a 24” barrel. Other possibilities would be 7mm-08, or 260 Remington, other other calibers, Thanks all

Very attractive rifle in a great caliber that 280 Remington. I had a Winchester Model 70 classic built and chambered for 280 AI. I wanted a 24" barrel. I wish the featherweights came with the 24" barrel, but then that would add some weight. I was going to have my build chambered in 280 but after thinking about it I thought the 280 AI would be fun! Glad I did but I would not have missed a beat going with either one. Both are a pair of the best cartridges made in my opinion.
