I have the chance to buy one right now. Whats the pros and cons for a winchester vs the weatherby? The gun is in good shape. What would be a fair price to offer the guy?

Need more specifics on the rifle. Year? CRF? Factory chambering or custom barrel? Synthetic or wood? Blued or stainless?

Controlled round feed and three-position safety are good on a M70; 54 degree booth throw is nice in the Weatherby (assuming Mark V).
