Sold Winchester Model 70 .270 EXCELLENT Cond.

Hey Ya'll! Posted this a while ago and had someone offer but then fall through. Didn't have time to continue keeping up with it but now I do so here it goes again!

I have a Winchester Model 70 in .270WIN with synthetic stock. Absolutely excellent condition. It only ever got brought to the range and was just recently thoroughly cleaned so is looking pretty darn good imho.

I'd like to get $500 plus shipping to your FFL. Doesn't include the Vortex scope shown but instead a Leupold 2x7 Vari-x II, rings and the nice Warne bases that are currently on there.


The Leupold scope looks to be in good condition with a couple small nicks on exterior and a very small mark on the front lens (that doesn't affect function whatsoever).

If you're interested in the rifle without scope it will be $400!

Been very accurate when I've used it. Originally got it for hunting but has only been used at the range. Only reason I'm getting rid of it is because the wife got me a beautiful walnut rifle in the same caliber.

It shoots about 1" @ 100yd groups with various ammo I've put through it but I am also not the best shot

Since I answered someone else in DM:

I tried a couple different types of ammo through it (~10-30 rds of each brand) and most shot fairly well. Barnes Vor-tx LR 129gr shot the best followed by Remington Core Lokt 130gr and Federal Premium Nosler 150gr. There was one other brand I can't remember that shot fairly good and then it had pretty loose (~2" groups) with Winchester super x 130gr. Like I said though I am a strictly sub 300yd hunter and am not exactly a marksman by any means.

It was manufactured in 2000. Barrel length is 26". Also, Mferguson wasn't able to purchase after all! Still up for sale.
