I am going on my first mulie hunt in CO this year in mid Oct. it will be a solo pack hunt around 7-10k feet. Will this clothing system keep me covered? Anything I am missing?

Danner Pronghorns Ins - US
UA Cold Gear Bottoms
FL Boxers
FL Lamo QZ
FL Chamo crew
Sitka Accent Pants
Microtex pants
Primoloft Jacket - 60
C4E Rain Gear
Skull cap
UA gloves
FL socks

I might pick up the Sitka Timberline pants and FL Allegheny bottoms to replace the UA.

The UA cold gear will work but it does seem to smell worse. I prefer wool also.
Lots of good wool options out there if you decide to switch. I really like the Kryptek Merino top. (haven't tried the bottoms yet)

These are also a really great option.

I have three of these tops and one pair of the bottoms.

I was getting them from Costco but I'm not sure if they still have them. They are lightweight and really hold up to abuse.

seems odd to go with a QZ base layer and a crew midlayer?
what is the plan for ascent and microtex pants?
i use alot of wool but still pack sythetic bottoms, same ones i wear for work 7months out of the year. i rarely wear them on a trip so i havent bothered to switch them out

Going to use the crew as lightweight base layer and QZ as mid layer. The ascent pants are for hiking and if it is warm and if i will be sitting for a while or it gets cold then I have the microtex. Should I just look at one or the other and not bringing both?

ascent pants and some long johns would be all id think you would need til oct or nov.
i believe the chama is heavier than the llano as the llano is close to a 185.

I got those two backwards. I have the llano in crew and the chama in QZ.

Since its mid October will the allegheny bottom with either sitka mountain pants or timberline pants be all I need? Also i will have C4E torrent pants.

Thanks for putting up with all the questions. This is my first trip out there.
