I remember in my childhood days (early 2010s) we could get $30-$40 for our best coons here in IL. Any chance we will ever get back to those levels?

Some structural things might be working to your advantage with this, over time. Global trade is getting restructured away from globalization and more towards fractured, regional trading-bloc kinds of economic flows, with more tariffs getting put in place. That will cause demand for locally produced things to start moving up, as access to cheaper foreign alternatives decline. All this alone should help move fur prices up a bit.

Bobcats, beavers and skunks were good ;last year, well beavers not so much.
Fur buyers are not paying what the auctions do for the most part.
We found a great buyer that has a contract with a furrier, he pays well for nice cats.

FHA is expecting better prices this year due to the foreign market.
We'll be selling to our local guy with the furrier contract I hope.

Coons and coyotes will be struggling for a while I bet, beavers may come back a little if the hatters start buying again.

Marten looks promising.
