Anyone have thoughts on the smoke conditions in NW Wyoming/Jackson over the next few weeks? I will be there 9/9-9/31. I am not familiar with how smoke conditions usually play out.

I've been watching the smoke conditions in MT for the past few weeks - we had a friend coming to visit and a trip to Yellowstone planned. I was only looking at monitoring stations in MT, but was eyeing up West Yellowstone. I believe the worst I've seen West Yellowstone was yellow "moderate", which in my experience isn't bad at all really for breathing and visibility over anything you would be walking to. It wasn't perfect when we were there, but a whole lot better than farther north and just effected visibility on some of the huge views. Hope that helps.

Moderate is the new Good here :D Even Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups is doable; past that is where it gets really annoying
