Anyone have any experience with these tents? Currently researching them and considering buying one for packing in for second rifle in Colorado.

Do a search on Huntalk. There was an extensive thread on WRTL awhile ago. Believe there a few threads on here as well. I used mine last weekend. By far my favorite wall tent. Excellent quality and customer service. 1+ on Four Dog stove. It was $ 1,150 shipped but should last a lifetime. Don getting up there in age so I can’t imagineIMG_0500.jpeg him producing that many more. IMG_0494.jpeg

I enjoy our bundok/riley little amigo as well. We had a snowtrekker outfitter before that and it was nice too, but the design change on the WRTL models
with less poles needed and especially the vertical stovepipe made me change. They are great tents.

The 4 dog stove is on my wishlist for sure!!

Did you ever try the 4 Dog stove compared to the Little Amigo? Do they both pack well on llamas?

Unfortunately I did not. I understand that 4 dog stoves are no longer being produced. I think form factor was similar, but quite a bit lighter.

I spoke to four dogs today and got on the waiting list. He said about six months out. I’m deciding between the ultralight 1 and the ultralight 2. The one has an 18” firebox and the two has a 22” firebox. Does anyone know is 22” too long to fit in llama panniers?

I have the 4dogs as noted above in my pictures, great stove. It survived a pack horse wreck with it rolling over the stove.
