I've had 4 of the regular ones for 20 plus years and they still look like new in spite of a lot of use. My grandson and I will be using them on cots this weekend. Too thin for my old bones unless on a cot. I would get the thicker , longer ones they offer now. Bombproof product, like the sleeping bags.
Love mine. Not that it matters given you are car camping, but here is a photo of 2 “mated” Wiggy’s pads rolled up next to a Savotta FDF pad, a Medium ALICE, and a Nalgene sized bottle for size reference.
I've used my Wiggy's pad for approximately 15 years. It's too bulky (in my opinion) for backpacking and not thick enough to use by itself (again, my opinion). I use it underneath a foam pad for sleeping in the back of my truck, and it works good for that. After years of use it shows no signs of wear.
