Listen to @Formidilosus on the Shoot2Hunt Podcast. ELDX or M if lead. I've been using DRT bullets and they (for me) have been exceptional this season, one-shot kills with dramatic trauma at 40, 205, and 420 yards on three different animals. The later two were bang-flops, the first went 3 steps. That is extremely annecdotal but I've been happy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend highly fragmenting bullets.

Can’t recommend the 130 terminal ascent highly enough. Stellar in my 6.5 prc, imagine it’d perform similarly in the creed

Hornady 140 ELDM factory ammo shoots incredibly well. I handload to match and the last one went through a Mule deer buck at a 30-45 deg angle leaving a great blood trail.
I have also settled on the factory 140gr Hornady ELDM. Super accurate, great performance on game and seems to be just about the perfect size bullet to use in a 6.5 Creedmoor to take great advantage of both long-range ballistics and taking the guesswork out of shorter-range work.

I just bought the wife a Tikka t3x 6.5 creedmore( specific for mule deer) because her 30-06 was giving her a pretty bad flinch. I'm curious what ammo you recommend for this gun. Shots will be 0-300 yards and punching through shoulder bone might be a situation we sometimes encounter.

Locally I can find Barnes Ttsx BT 120 grain(I feel like this might be a bit on the low end for punching through bone)

- Federal fusion 140 grain

- Hornady Precision 143gr eldx(ai've read that this might not do well against bone)
Hornady Match 140g ELDs.
