Wife’s Montana bull

Had a pretty good day. Seen this group of elk about two miles away. Made a mad dash to cut the distance and got within 250 yards of the herd. Wife stuck two 140 Berger’s from her 6.5-06 in the bull perfectly and he stumbled 30-40 yards downhill.

Congrats. Where about in Montana? I was hunting north of Clyde park earlier this week and did the same thing. Was a blast. Now have a new itch that will need scratching every couple of years (I am from Texas).
