From a blind or spot and stalk? Which unit? My wife and I got our butts kicked this weekend on the plateau. Tried spot and stalk Saturday until about 3 pm the went and sat the blind the rest of the day and Sunday 6 am until noonish. The tried a few more stalks with no luck. We can't get within a mile where we were. I was begging to think it was impossible to kill one with a bow but your post gives me new hope. I think I need to pick a better water hole to put the blind on but there are too many to chose from

Stick with it BC. It will come together. This was sitting in a blind over a water hole. After all the cows get a drink and move out the goats move in. She made a sweet shot at 45 yards out of the blind. We got out of the blind and watched him go about 100 yards and he tipped over. It was pretty fun.

Nice! My wife loves shooting her bow but still isn't sold on hunting big game. Going to start her with turkeys and work up to it I think.

Thanks guys. I was happy for her. I'm no expert on scoring but I came up with 74". She is happy with him. Now I hope I can get her on a deer.

I hear ya Randy! Luckily the little one has 2 sets of awesome grand parents that like having him around so I can take her hunting. I really can't wait for my boy to get a little bigger so I can take him with me too.
