Wife's first kill of the season

My wife took this doe last Saturday in IL.
The shot was a little low, and only hit the liver, but she is a very good tracker, and after 6 hours and jumping her 3 times, she put her down with a finishing shot.

Now it is buck time for her!

Congrats! Way back "B.C." (before children),my wife was a heck of a tracker as well. Women can do it that's for sure. We made a good team. If I lost the blood. I'd stand on the last spot and she would circle and sort it out until she picked it back up. Very patient and thorough. Good luck on that buck!

Thanks guys, the best thing I ever did besides marrying my wife, was to make her my hunting partner!
It took a little convincing on my part, but she is a now a bow hunting addict!
