I'm in need of a wide pair of boots. I bought Crispi in wide, but I think they still might be too narrow for me, as I have super flat feet.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have trouble fitting boots, call Lathrop and sons for a foot mapping kit.. Get their recommendations and go from there..

Yeah. I've thought about it, but decided to try Crispi first. I have super flat feet, so the middle section of my foot gets super fat when I'm standing flat.

Do you use prescription orthotics? I'm also a flat foot and have noticed a major difference in comfort with boots if I use the prescription ones vs Dr Scholes. Best of luck.

I have Flintstone flat feet and after wearing many different brands found Keen wide boots work best for me. They only last two years but are cheap to replace.

Not sure about flat but I have EEE width. Here are a few brands that I have found:

Crispi - work for me. Have to size up about a half size to get width. Run these with a superfood insole.
Danner - have worn them for 25 years going back tot he army. not the best hiking boot designs but plenty wide for me. I have two pair of combat hikers, a couple of other .mil boots and still two pairs of old school Acadias.
Asolo - hit or miss but I found some designs wide enough. The 520 was my go to hiking boot and then the fugitive.
Merrell - I used to love them but I had to leave them. My last set of sawtooths lost their sole way too soon. I am on my 6th pair of MOABs and this and the last pair are wearing out way too fast. The last straw was a set crosstrainers that failed miserably after a few months. IMO their quality has slipped way down and I was perturbed by my CS experience on the trainers.
KEEN - my new merrell. Wide fit is fine. Need more time to comment on durability.

I’d say as stated earlier, you may need to buck up and go with custom made boots. Lathrop may be your best option. Good luck and take care of your wheels.

What size are you looking for? I have a pair of Lowa Tibet in wide that I'm going to sell. I have a EEE toe box and the midfoot and heel of a small child.... the Lowa was a touch tight for me in the toe box, but too wide everywhere else.

The wide lows tibets have worked great or me. I have a pair of crispi summits in wide and there's definitely not as much room in the toe box. Also have the Irish setter elk tracker in regular width and theres plenty of room.

I have the same issue. I have found some flat foot insoles from "10 seconds". They have been way better than custom ones I have used. I also found that they allow me to get 1/2 size larger shoes for my wide feet.
