We’re excited to introduce the Wickiup Hoody — our new ultra-lightweight, mountain-focused base layer built specifically as a stand-out piece for warm weather, or layering next to skin when it cools down. It’s available now at MTNHNTR.com.

We built this piece with a simple goal: Comfort. Protection. Performance across a wide range of mountain conditions.
There are a ton of synthetic hoodies out there — but most of them are either: Too warm for active early season hunting, don't breath well, or too fragile for actual backcountry use. We tested a lot of fabrics and landed on a poly-rayon blend — without spandex — to provide ultimate comfort, breathability, and durability, while maintaining a consistent fit over time.

Looks great. Love an old school duck pattern, how does it deal with stink? Most of my synthetic stinks up bad, after a few active hours in it

I've been wearing it a ton over the past few months and haven't noticed it being very bad. We went a little heavier on the Rayon than some blends because I find that it does perform better than a straight synthetic polyester. The Rayon behaves a lot more like a natural fiber because it's made out of pulped bamboo fibers.

What color is the inside?

My biggest issue with the synthetic hoodies is that the camo ones are always stark white inside the hood for some reason.

It has camo in the inside of the hood - same pattern.

No, I've washed one about 10 times and haven't noticed anything.

I just ordered one for scouting and matches. Good to see some natural fibers being used. Do you know how many or what chemicals are mixed in with the bamboo?

I'm not 100% sure on the exact chemical mix to create the rayon. I'll see if I can figure that out. We just tried multiple different fabric blends from full synthetics, to full bamboo, and a few other types of fabrics, and loved the feel and performance of this blend.

Ha ha, I wish I had Jimmy Johns...The chest pocket is for whateve you want to put in it. I find myself putting elk reeds and other things in my chest pocket, so I had it added to the shirt.
