Just curious ppls thoughts. Do the rest of the aplha glass makers not get into IS binos bc they dont want to canabalize the rest of their lineup? Or maybe are just still working on it?(Which seems odd bc the tech is not exactly new). Or just bc theyre glass is already at such a premium pricepoint they dont think the average consumer will purchase?

It just seems like an opportunity given how much ppl dislike the glass quality and low light performance on the Sigs. On a podcast I think it was intentionally or not, implied they will come out with a next gen that will address those issues. Which makes sense and is good business. Just like apple withholds upgrades they could implement now, but keep in their back pocket to sell their current model lineup. Also just seems strange Swaro started with the IS spotter and not binos which seems backwards to me.

Swarovski does not seem to be hesitant about price. Check out the AX Visio Smart binocular. This binocular might end up scoring your deer on the hoof!

My guess would be Swarovski and Leica have set a higher bar for their IS binos and they aren't there yet.

I was gifted some 12x Zulus and cant seem to understand how anyone would dislike the glass. When you get to 16x and beyond it sucks... but the 10s and 12s are great.
