Sometimes its something interesting that seamingly hasnt been discussed recently. Sometimes I'll search something and old threads come up.

We tell people to use the search function and then complain when they do.
Nailed it damn if you do and damn if you don’t

A while ago I noticed noticed that. There’s a “similar threads” list at the bottom of the screen. My guess is that it’s sorted by relevance, not date. People are probably just clicking on them because of the topic.
I've been that guy before. Accurate Shooter is really bad about suggesting really old threads. A lot of times you get similar questions around the same time each year.
- What gun should I buy with my tax dollars?
- What bullet should I shoot out of X cartridge for Y quarry?
- I'm a new hunter, deer season opens next week. What gun should I get to shoot deer at a mile?

I'd rather find a few posts that are updated than a thread each year with the same replies.

Why are threads being made about ten year old threads?
Most big game seasons are over and boredom is setting in. Other than bots, same reason the old threads are getting new life.

Or it's a strange and new promotion method for The Matrix: Resurrections movie. Someone in marketing thinks we are their core fan group.
