$200 for two barrels fitted to the action by a competent smith seems like a bargain. Same with a 2-month turnaround, by any gunsmith, let alone one with a good reputation for quality work.

Sorry, my post wasn’t clear - $200 to rechamber just the factory barrel. For his time and work, I’m sure it’s still well worth it though.

Might get ahold of Crownridge, he did my Howa Mini.

Reached out to Anthony, hoping to hear back soon. Looks like he's going to be out for a while (like mid-Feb to April), so not sure this will happen anytime in the near future.

Spoke with Kinport as well - sounds like the Tikka barrels are a little rough on reamers. He's now the 2nd smith that won't rechamber a Tikka due to wear on reamers. At this point, I might just sell the factory barrel and use the funds to have the Proof rechambered.
