Sounds like it was a no go. I’d still write em a check tomorrow for one in 308. Anyone know if a comparable rifle? From the OPs description, it sounds like my Ruger 77/44 in a more applicable caliber. I’m all for it. Suppose you could buy a tikka lite and cut down the bbl to 18 if you wanted
