Who’s going? Mile high hunt & fish expo

Both you and I can go to multiple places, closer places, any business day, for free, and take that spotter outside, multiples days to experience different weather/light. That's the point...great example.
I almost said, “that’s an example of something that could be found locally” but I figured you were smart enough to see my example for what it was worth; a product that after seeing in person was better than expected.

Here’s another example for the slow kids in the group. When I was looking for a big boy suppressor, there were no TBAC cans in stock locally. I ended up deciding on the ultra 338 over the Magnus. It’s facking huge! I later had a chance to play with a Magnus and wish I’d gone with a Magnus, but on paper the extra 1” didn’t seem like much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hard work tracking down the elusive mythical Swarovski dealer.

How bout that Maven dealer?

I think you are missing the point of convenience.
Two weeks to fiddle.

Like I said, the event is missing a compelling hook. I'd like to see it survive and grow, but that needs vendors to make money at the venue, and that takes purchasing attendees. @Billy Goat are you flying in to attend?

@Ucsdryder as you walk around, ask the businesses what their return was and ask how quickly they'd commit to three more years. It might be enlightening.

Honestly, nothing grows to get better except for trial and error. If there wasn't a market/interest the show wouldn't happen. The show may not have vendors id love to see, but there's still a lot of vendors under one roof at the same time that will make it worth it to view. Im willing to travel from out of state to see it vs going to the western hunt expo just because its also cheaper. Same experience? No, but i still find value in it.

plus, more feed back the show recieves, the better the chance itll grow to how the attendees would like.

I think I'll try to make it happen this year! Did anybody do the banquet/ casino night/ film fest last year? Is it all worth the price? Is it pretty kid friendly? If I meet another Rokslider do I use my real name or Lil-Rokslider?

I thought anyone you meet from RS we were doing the secret hand shake?

I to would like to know if the banquet was worth while.

No, I'm not flying in. Did you fly to Pennsylvania to go to The Great American Outdoor show?

Of course not, it's cross country.
But I can't see how someone is against something being in their backyard that brings a bunch of vendors in to showcase products. It's like you went and someone kicked your dog and now you don't wanna go back.

I don't particularly care for the buy and try stuff. I have done it with backpacks. There's some things it's almost needed for, but there's a whole lot of stuff that just some personal handling gives you a good idea of it.

I watched the film festival, good show. Not sure who or if Robby and Travis are speaking again but also a good show. I’ll refer to you by your old name 😜
How old are your mini-roksliders?

Scored a fantastic price from my dudes at 1shotgear on my ATC at the show last year and got to fondle an xlr which I now have there were some solid deals it seemed if you were in the market to buy gear. Randomly ran into my wife’s family friends who are big outfitters in AZ Big Chino, it was fun.
