How important is it to keep your Powder & Primers dry when storing them? Do you Use Desiccant Packs where you store your Muzzleloadering Powders and Primers. Just so they will work and not misfire?
Or do you lve in a dry environment where it is not a concern?
Beig BH209 is costing more these days wondering if it is a good idea to store with some desiccant Packs in a sealed place?
Same for 209 Primers. Being Winter is now upon us. (or at least some of us)

I use these totes to store pretty much everything worth storing. Air tight (ish) with a rubber or foam seal. Perfect size to move load slide around sit on use as a work bench etc. They aren’t big enough to get too heavy to manage unless they’re storing bullets.

I buy desiccant packs and toss one in each tote for gun parts, primers/powder, clothes. Probably overkill but my thought is garage storage will cause temp fluctuations which cause moisture to fall out of air and onto dry things.

So yes, I dry store reloading components. It’s too easy to do.
