Who makes a chest pack other than Kifaru (koala) or Hill People Gear (kit bag)?

I am looking for a good chest rig/pack/pouch that I can use for carrying basic survival kit and maybe for concealed carry when hiking or backcountry camping. I know about the old Kifaru Koala and Koala Lite, and the various Hill People Gear kit bags, but does anyone else make a pouch with shoulder straps that could be used for this purpose? Maybe a MOLLE panel that you could attach a pouch/pocket to?

I carry optics and full survival kit, knife and cell phone in my AGC. Could conceal a weapon easily with no optics.

I just got an Alaska guide creations bino harness but could be used as chest pack. The one I got was classic model.

Kelty makes something similar but its a "sling" style designed to be worn over one shoulder across the back.

My father in-law actually bought one of these for my wife a couple years ago thinking it was a hydration pack. She never used it and it ended up in my gear closet where it sat for a couple years until I decided to mess with it one day and realized what it was designed for. The back compartment is Velcro lined and comes with a couple elastic bands that could be used for mags or even to hold the barrel of a semi auto.

You seek Hill People Gear. They have the biggest selection of styles of chest packs.

I searched for a while and didn't find much other than the 2 you mentioned and ended up running the HPG Snubby Original pattern for my Glock 20 - which according to everything you read won't fit in the snubby but it does albeit its a tight fit. I stayed away form the full size kit bag simply because of the size - too big for me.

It makes a great fishing pack with gear and tackle in the front zipper and middle compartment with the pistol tucked in the back. Not the fastest to deploy but keeps it handy.

Kifaru has their new Tombstone but not sure if they have a chest strap system.

Which model from Alaskan Guide Creations?

Larry

Crap, not sure which one....the one before the Cub and the Max and the extra pocket on the bottom. The one that holds 10x42 binos. Sorry, not sure which one it is now...bought it four or five years ago.
