Just shot a few dozen shots at a block target here at home this morning, looking forward to next week when i can go shoot my little 3D course at the cabin in some warmer temps.
Just started this journey in January. I have been shooting outside and in my garage. I can’t shoot far but 12 yards is good for after work. I’m still working on anchor point and good release.
Yeah winter is tough to stay motivated in Central Idaho. I had my buddy make me a matching bow about 5 pounds lighter for winter so it was easier to shoot more.
Nothing better than a cold weather bow hunt! Last friday it was about 5 degrees so i assumed the deer would be up and feeding early. Got settled in my tree and arrowed a doe 20 minutes later. I look forward to be cold drops this time of year to get those deer up early.
I really enjoy late archery season, and have even had some success in it, but I only went out one day this year for it last week, and it was almost 50 degrees! Shockingly warm and sunny.
