Matthews heli-m 2012 killed elk 2 out of the last 3 years. But I have never liked it that much. Lol. See how life goes, I have a 10 year rule before I can buy a new bow.
Bought my first bow in 1990 or 1991, Martin Lynx magnum and it still gets used by beginners that want to try flinging their first few arrows.
Still have my original PSE xforce 2007 (from memory) still gets used a couple dozen days a year on small game.
2019 Mathews Vertix and Traverse both used on big game.
I'm currently shooting my dad's Bear Super Kodiak. Made and purchased in 1976 I believe. So it's 45 years old this year. I'm so good with it I managed to miss a turkey at 5 yards last weekend!
I picked up Matthews original solo cam in 2005. Still my primary weapon, uncountable critters and shooting competition trophies since. The initial tryout, third shot was a 20yd 'Robinhood'. Had to have it, still shoots just as well! Having a hard time replacing this one.
I already have a 2006 Bowtech Old Glory but I just got a new one exactly the same.......except this one looks like a safe queen compared to mine that has been used a LOT. I'm thinking about using it this year instead of my PSE Freak. Maybe I'll use both of them and alternate.......who knows.
