Who has hunted Moose in Colorado GMU 29?

Anyone recently hunted moose in 29? I hunted elk in there a few years ago successfully and can trade some information with you if you have any. I drew a cow moose tag during archery season this year. I think I know where they are but would like to trade notes. I'm only going to be able to get up there a handful of times before the season. It's been a few years since I've been in there.

Cow moose are pretty prevalent all across the northern front range. Look at the harvest reports from the last 5 years on the CPW website and you will find some very consistent drainages that multiple cows are shot out of each year. Hunt them and you will do fine.

Go drive the peak to peak, you might hit one with your truck if you don’t see one to shoot with your bow, remember don’t shoot one in front of tourons at brainard lake… that is frowned upon
