Who has advice for shooting consistently in cold weather clothing?

Draw length

It really doesn't look bad, your head might be cocked back a little. Definitely looks like your throwing your head down. Hard to tell with a sweatshirt on exactly what your arm angles are.

Shortening your loop is going to mess you up pretty good, I definitely wouldn't do that. Using a nose button shortening your loop is going to change your hand position or your nose.

Might be your head leaning over is causing your arm to bind. Can you get a picture from straight behind with a little elevation? I'm also not great at looking at pictures of people shooting, take my evaluation of it for what you are paying for it.

Ya I hear ya. I feel like my draw length is pretty dialed and shoot really well with lighter clothes on. But I am always looking for small improvements.

Doesn't look bad to me. It's all backwards tho.

How do you shoot the hinge? Do you relax your index and middle finger any as you are pulling?

I'm honestly not a fan of a hinge for hunting, pretty late to be changing anything now tho.

That picture makes it look like your right elbow is close to being locked. I prefer to have some bend in that elbow and it rotates the elbow joint to be parallel with the bow string if that makes sense. That's nothing to do with your release tho.

That hole in the elbow pocket looks to be going at your top cam, I like it facing the arrow.

Ya slightly old picture and I have been working on being aware of having a soft elbow with some bend. Well I think I will just have to keep practicing with cold gear and on probably keep the shots to 30-40 yards in late season. Hunting White-tailed in MN and mule deer in ND so that should be plenty of range. Thanks for the help

I shoot a carter evolution, it’s tension activated, not a hinge. Just release it by activating left deltoid.
