Whitetail Stand Jacket

It is a nice jacket. I just haven’t used it much - mostly because I don’t hunt the late season since I usually have my tags filled by then. I am also downsizing a bunch of gear since I have more than a dozen sets of jacket and bib combinations. (Yes, that is correct. More than twelve sets of outer gear for deer. And, yes, I have a problem!). If I haven’t used something in the last year or two I’m putting things up for sale.
That's impressive! That is one way to test stuff.

Figured you were into it with the CLO charts and articles on it.

Davy A,
I think like in anything designed to be warm you will sweat wearing the Sherpa with moderate activity unless it's really cold. I will say though that it must breath good like advertised but it never felt damp or wet.
I sprayed down in advance with Scent Killer Gold so scent was never a problem.
In fact the buck that I shot on the 8th day of hunting came in downwind from me and I shot him at 20 yards so I think thats pretty good.

You are on the right track with the mesh base layers, heated vest and peloton. Only thing I would suggest is a second wind stop layer under the stratus. I use gorewear spin shift windbreaker. And wind breaker pants or something like Kuiu Kenia’s under the stratus should do good at those temps.
Colder than that the fanatic is the way to go.
