Do you feel like they handle the same temp ranges? If not, which one will handle the coldest temps?

Sorry for the late reply. I feel like they would handle the same temps very similarly. I’ve now worn both into the mid 20’s-low 30’s and both would be comfortable with a base layer and possibly a light mid layer. That being said the river wolf is easier to layer under, so I could probably push it into lower temps more easily

Just have to be conscious about the noise. That being said the Sitka fanatic is kinda the goat for cold weather sits just not very packable and loves to pickup burs.

I had my kifaru lost park parka out with me for opening day of rifle season. Never really thought about using it for archery with the bulk and the noise.

I had my k4 5000 full of clothes between me and my 8 yr old son on opening day. Luckily he shot a buck early in the morning so he didn't have too much of a chance to get cold.

I did end up buying a Kryptek Vellus jacket on eBay for $80. It was brand new and figured for that price it wouldn't hurt to try it. I like the fit of it and it seems like it will be decently warm. It also has pit zips and a removable hood.

I also ordered some Aclima mesh base layers and the Pnuma heated vest. I'm going to try that combo with the Vellus and see how it does. I may also switch out my Patagonia R1 for my Kuiu Peloton 240 for a midlayer.

Once again, this is mainly for colder rut hunts. It's going to be single digits here on Friday. If I'm hunting in that I'll probably just break out the LPP.

PA mountain guy here. I have an original Fanatic jacket combined with the Stratus bibs that's my go to until it gets really cold. Im using the Kuiu Haven set after that. Each piece rolls up to about the size of a loaf of white bread in size L. It's not perfect but I really like the Haven set.

Any chance you can snap a pic of how the haven packs down? Sounds like it packs way better than I was thinking it would.

I think you will like your set up. You may want some other merino base layers over that mesh. You can go light if you want, 165, just to have another insulating layer. I bought the 165 and a heavier set for truly cold hunts with a wind blowing. That vest will really help, that warmth is like a nice blanket inside when the wife hits menopause.

Don't forget a good muff and some rechargeable or one time use handwarmers. Maybe a good merino beanie.

I also picked up a Vellus jacket on ebay. Ive been wearing it the last several days, and I absolutely love it. Hunted in the rain the other day and stayed dry. In very cold temps, I will just add a primaloft jacket underneath.

First year with the Kenai and it’s great, I can sit comfortably down to low 30’s. I walk in with the 97, swap it for another 97, dress and climb up. I also have a kings vest with primaloft that I’ll use and the stone glacier puffy. It’s a warm jacket but I swear it’s a beacon to whitetails. I’ve been picked off multiple times now form a distance. I tried putting it under the Kenai and it don’t layer well. Hopefully you find a system that works well. Nothing worse than chattering teeth in the stand. Best wishes

I got the Asio Midweight Sherpa set and love it. Very quiet, warm, and the camo pattern is amazing in how well it blends.
One breezy morning I actually slipped in to my stand, climbed the tree and settled in then discovered an 8 pt buck was bedded only 37 yds away and he never saw me.
Asio customer service is outstanding as I had a couple of exchanges getting the desired fit and they were very quick and hassle free.
