My rangefinder gave up after 10 years. I’m drawn to Vortex due to the warranty. My previous rangefinder was at the early stages of angle compensation with a few ballistic groups.
I am not going to shoot past 400 yards at an animal. In fact 400 is probably further than I would shoot.
What I am wondering is if the Vortex viper rangefinder is accurate out to 400 yards at various angles on an animal (not paper target) with the “HCD” angle compensation or if I should get the Razor GB and put exact ballistics in from my chrono/bullet info??
