A fix back east
That HPG stove pictured above looks like a great design. I've heard they were developing a mid-size as well, but when I check their website it appears they haven't had any stoves in stock for quite some time.
I have a HPG stove in my my 8-man and that thing burns like a champ. It's surprisingly stable. A buddy and I have packed it before with the tipi for 3-4 miles. I wasn't a huge of fan of the in-line damper system they have. It works well, it's just fiddly to get everything in place. I put together a spreadsheet a while ago and their stove had the most volume at the lightest weight per dollar, I think.

In their forums they explain the holdup. Apparently the guy that built the original stoves was a PITA to deal with, they found someone else, but they couldn't get it done, now they're working with one of the employees of the first guy who now has all the tooling to make the stoves himself.

Seek Outside testimony

I have the 8 man Seek Outside tipi (with double nest) and the XL Seek Outside stove to go with it. I really enjoy it and it stays super warm even in late-fall backcountry conditions. I have ended up sleeping on top of my bag during a few snow storms now. The large door and damper are a huge plus. I also like the flat top for cooking, etc. It’s not the lightest of the options out there but I think the extra little weight is worth it when I consider the above benefits and how long I can keep the fire going between stokings at night. I’m newer to the titanium wood stove scene but I know that I’ve enjoyed the SO.
