I’m looking at getting a new Leupold scope today for my 12”
something light and able to shoot deer out to 150 yards.
im trying to decide between 3 scopes all are Leupolds.
freedom 2-7x33 (11.1oz. 11in long)
freedom 1-4x20 ( 9.6oz 9.3in long)
vx3. 1-5x20. ( 10.1 oz. 9.7 long) $200 more than others
im torn between the 2-7 and the 1-4 mostly. The 1-4 is lighter and shorter but only goes to 4x and is a 20mm objective
the 2-7 is longer 1.5 oz heavier and 2” longer but higher power and 33 objective. Be for shots to 150 -175 yard max and neck shots some on deer or coyote possibly .
leaning towards the 2-7. I’m kinda ruling out the 1-5 because it’s bigger than 1-4 and $200 more than the other 2 scope. Doesn’t seem worth it
