Which Garmin Setup?

Another vote for the 550 plus with TT25 collars. I've been running this setup for 4.5 yrs now. I run two dogs at a time, mainly on chukar and huns. I pair the 550 with an Instict watch. The 550 stays in my vest pocket the whole time. I look at the watch every now and then to check on dog location, if not in sight When they go on point I get a vibration notification, I generally don't worry about the notification delay. Super convenient, great battery life and reliable in rugged terrain. For location tracking and the versatility to training, it's hard to beat.

Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar Pro. The watch has been on sale for several hundred dollars off for several months now.

One other thing I’d say about garmin.

They may have the best “ecosystem” in the world. Only company close is Apple. Their stuff just works and works well together.

200i is tough to beat! They will never let you down. I don’t see enough add ons to the 300 to make the switch yet but I’m sure there will be in the future.
