Was my first year with my 26” kifaru. For my bony hips I’ve decided I’d rather carry a moose on the kifaru than an elk on the exo.

The exo crib works like it was made for it.

Way back when I used the Cabelas Alaskan Guide pack frame - I put a meat shelf on it to help support.
Worked good.

2 of us had the newest kifaru frame and reckoning and 3rd guy had mystery ranch! We tried each others packs and the kifaru was way more comfortable with a heavy load!

I've hauled 2 Alaskan bull moose with the Kiraru tactical frame and a load sling. I chose this over the Barneys only because I can use the Kufaru on all of my hunts and wouldn't likely use a Barneys frame for anything else. My kifaru setup worked awesome.

I rocked a Stone Glacier sky 5100 on the Xcurve frame. Montana moose. 8.5 miles one way took 4 trips with others. Two friends also had SG packs with Crux frames, one guy had a Mystery Ranch pack that didn't detach from the frame. This load was pushing 150 lbs. No lie.

At 100 lbs I could walk without stopping for breaks, the pack worked very well. No issues what so ever. Packed out several deer, bears and elk with this pack and frame. Highly recommend Stone Glacier packs. IMG_0007.JPG
