Hey all, I'm deciding between three arrow builds and was wondering some input from others if possible:

My bow: VXR 31.5, 70# limbs w/ 85% let off, 30" draw

Option 1:
Easton Axis match 300 29", 125 gr VPA 3 blade, standard hit insert, nockturnal
weight = 503 grains 9% foc

Option 2:
BE Rampage 250 28.5", 125 gr VPA, standard half out insert (55 grains), nockturnal
weight = 537 12% foc

Option 3:
BE Rampage 300 28", 100 gr broadhead, FOCOS system insert (100 grains), nockturnal
weight = 496 w/ 15% foc

Appreciate the help,
Chady

Given that you likely won’t be hurting for speed with your draw length and weight, that middle option looks pretty enticing. I’m contemplating BE Rampages myself, they seem to be a favorite.

I have a very similar setup to your Axis setup, and I really like it. Accurate, hits very hard, room for fixed pins to 60 yards (and probably beyond but I don’t shoot that far), not expensive, no exotic parts. Had to buy an arrow puller to get the durn things out of the 30 & 40 yard targets at the range.

Im at a 28.5 inch draw, so yours would be all the better.

I've just had such great luck with those Axis in that 525 grain weight range as far as accuracy and killing stuff. Consistent, accurate and damn tough.

Rampage 250’s I use them and the renegades in 250 cut to 28.25 with the standard inserts, I shoot a 30 inch draw 73 lb rx3. Tune up nicely, Stiff by the charts but fly fixed heads well.

Appreciate the help. I just ordered two axis to try out from option one and will let you know how they turn out.

I run something close to Option 3 and really enjoy it. However, my DL is not even close to 31.5”. If that were me, option 1 would be my go-to. Plenty of momentum and still a doable speed for further shots.
