Where to buy used/refurbished iphones

Well my iPhone SE finally bit the dust, won't hold a charge anymore after almost 4 years. I need a new phone but I refuse to pay $1000+ for a new one. Where is the best place to get a used or refurbished older model? I have Verizon if it makes a difference.

Just got an iPhone 7 brand new for $150 at my carrier. It was sold as a refurb, but was actually a replacement phone that was never opened. I’d talk to Verizon

We have bought our company phones from one of the many reputable Ebay sellers for the last 10 years. Previous years models almost always available new in box at less than half price.

But we don't run iPhones, so not positive if it is the same for your needs.
