Its not easy to kill elk, it likely never was, but its way harder than some blowhards on the internet with private access pretend it is.

Usually quite the opposite in my experience.

Most of the guys with private access pretend to be the toughest, grizzliest hunters to ever run a ridge, grinding 30 days in the wild when in reality they never get more than 500 yards from their sxs, sleep in a resort quality hotel every night, and the bull they killed could've been called in by yelling his name easier than with a bugle tube.
