When’s the best chance at getting a Garmin In Reach on sale?

Best chance is one of the holiday sales, or if you're a veteran or LEO you can get discounts that way.

I picked up an inReach Explorer+ 25% off from Dick's during their 2018 Black Friday sale, but who knows if they'll do that again. If you're okay with buying used, like-new Explorer+'s come up in the classifieds occasionally for around $350 and Mini's for maybe $50 less.

If you’re an REI member they should be mailing a 20% off one full price item to you this month.

Yeah, electronics are exempt from that 20% off coupon at REI. You can use your dividend towards one, but not the coupon

I have noticed when rei discount goes live amazon tends to drop on the Garmin mini. I have been watching hoping for under >20% off still have 1.5 years before moose hunt, so I am being patient

EDIT: looks like michihunt beat me to the punch

Costco has the Garmin SE+ for $229 right now until March 15.

You can get one at Academy with one of the recent 20% off coupons they sent out in the mail. Looks like it comes to $379 shipped for me for the InReach Explorer Plus.

Where you at? Great Alaskan Sportsman Show is first weekend in April. Very hot deals there. I spoke with the Garmin guy there and he pointed me to the best deal in the house
