What’s your rifle weigh?

So jealous of y'all. My "go to" is a Tikka in 7 Rem Mag with a KRG Echo which weighs too much at 9.8 lbs (all in with can).

I'm halfway through building out my mountain gun which is a Tikka 16.5" 308 (waiting for my smith to get back to cut the barrel down) which will likely be around 8.25lbs with can. At some point in the nebulous future, I'll be replacing the Tikka stock with a Blacktooth which will free me up 10oz, and replacing the can with an Otter Creek Hydrogen K which will net me another 4.5oz off too.

Cheers!

Check out the echelon stock. Lighter, better ergos than the peak 44 stocks.

Interesting. I could shave 6oz more, but it is almost twice the price (with sling swivel studs etc). Is it really that good?

EDIT: Reading the fine print, I'd spend almost twice the price to shave off... 2 oz....

Idk how 779 to 959 is twice, but it's mostly the Blacktooth is a very traditional shape that is quite poor for recoil management and positioning. The Bastion is better, but it's also at least 7oz heavier than the echelon. Depends what's important.

It's not $959. Once you add in the swivel studs etc, it balloons quickly. I hear you on recoil management and positioning, however!

10 pounds 13 ounces with the bipod and suppressor (Hatch bipod pictured, but it's been replaced with a Gunwerks Elevate Ti). If I ever do a sheep or goat hunt, I'll build something ultralight.

I’m a tad under 9lbs with my current go to, I think 8lbs 10oz
Tikka stainless T3x 6.5cm 16” barrel
Alterra stock
Triji 2.5-15 credo
Tricer BP
And silencerco harvester evo…

She a tad chunky but not bad plus I can take off my BP and drop 1lb right there

I do have a CA ridgeline that is rather trim and still shoots lights out, it’s a tad over 7lbs with a credo and a suppressor dead air TI but the ergo’s on the tikka are fantastic.

That’s my lightest one. Kimber Montana 308, barrel cut to 18” and threaded for 5/8x24, it has a trigger tech trigger, titanium skelotonized bolt handle and it’s been bedded. In the pic it has my banish 30 but in a week or so it will have my TBAC ultra 7 on it.
May I ask which Trigger Tech trigger you used on this Kimber
