What all are you including? If that's tent, pad, bag then that's pretty good. If that's just the pad and bag then I think you can improve a but still not terrible.

My kit is:
-Oware 9'x9' tent - 31oz with 11 stakes and triptrease guylines
-TiGoat Kestral bivy 6 oz
-BA Q-Core SL mummy pad 19 oz
-EE Prodigy 40 quilt 22 oz
So 78oz total - just under 5 lbs. this gets me down to 25-30 and pretty comfy. Could go lighter but would sacrifice comfort and this is a good compromise for me. Later in the year I run a Marmot Pinnacle bag so that jumps my weight up by a pound or so.

*Edited to add more detail and actual weights.

I think mine is tent - 31oz, bivy 6 oz, pad 21 oz and quilt 25 oz so just over 5 lbs. this gets me down to 25-30 and pretty comfy. Could go lighter but would sacrifice comfort and this is a good compromise for me

nice job man, mine is 23 oz for the tarp, 4 oz bivy, 37 oz sleeping bag, and 16 oz for sleeping pad. so 80 oz total for sleeping and shelter system.

My lightest would be my bivy (13oz), 20 degree bag (16oz), and pad (12oz) which would be 41oz or just over 2.5lbs. I've done it comfortably down into the 20's.

Add my tipi (13oz), and treking pole to pitch it (7oz) and I'd be at 61oz or 3.8lbs which is my normal setup.

If I really wanted to go high class and take a free standing tent it would be between 4.5 and 5.5lbs depending on whether or not a take the nest.

Mine is right about 5 lbs, including quilt, pad, bivy, shelter, and pillow. I can't remember if that includes the medium 5 string I pack it in.

Mine is about 5.25lbs.

Big Agnes fly creek ul2 (2lbs, 6.2oz)
Burrow 20 quilt (1lb 4oz)
Exped Synmat UL7 LW (1 lb 5.8oz)
Cocoon Pillow (3.4oz)

I could see dropping some weight, but don't want to go floorless and I sure sleep well on that big pad. Not sure what I'd change.

For me totally depends on weather / time of year.

Summer and sept elk season, I am about 64-66 oz - (4 lbs) (depends on which bivy) if all goes below and be comfortable down to 20-25.

Tarp shelter with stakes, guy lines and sacks - 20 oz
Tyvek sheet- 3 oz
Bivy 5.5 - 7.5 oz ( depends on which one take)
Bag- 19 oz
Silk liner if take- 4 oz
Pad 12.5 oz

What 20 degree bag are you running that comes in at 16ozs??? That's light!

My set up comes in at 4.4 lbs

Alps Mountaineering Zephyr 2 - 4lb 12oz
Mountainsmith 0 degree synthetic - 4lb 10oz
Hyalite classic air pad - 1lb 5oz
Big Agnes air core pillow - 4.5oz

Total weight 10lb 15.5oz (total cost $189 shipped)

I guess with 4 kids I'm a penny counter, not an ounce counter. I figure I'm getting off season training even during season this way:)

Shelter 23 oz all inclusive except the pole, 32 with the pole.

Quilt 20 oz

Pad 13 oz

Bivy 6 oz

So a total of 3 lb 14 oz without the pole and 4 lb 7 oz with the pole.

Five lb two ounces
Fly creek ul1
WM alpinlite
SL big ag pad.

I could drop roughly a pound if I just do the footprint and fly on the tent.

I think it will depend on the season for me as well, although I usually layer for sleep to carry less than I need to.

Kifaru Paratarp
Modified USGI Woobie
Sleep pad

Around three pounds I am guessing.
